چکیده
Abstract Although mineral trioxide aggregates (MTA) have been adopted as an endodontic sealer because of excellent sealing effect and bioactive property modified with improvement its characteristics, the developed MTA sealers not yet satisfied all ideal requirements sealers. The aim this study was to assess characteristics elastin-like polypeptide (ELP)-incorporated for use compare them those commercial Two three experimental ELP-incorporated 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 liquid/powder (L/P) ratio 10 wt% ELP liquid were evaluated. push-out bond strength, flow rate, penetrability wash-out resistance tested sealer-dentin interface observed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Our revealed sealer, especially in 0.4 L/P ratio, exhibited higher strength rate (P < 0.05), equal or superior penetration remarkable compared groups ELP-based also more intimate contact dentin research will suggest possible adoption clinical use.

OBJECTIVES The aim of this study was to evaluate tooth discoloration caused by contact with a novel injectable mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA)-based root canal sealer (Endoseal; Maruchi, Wonju, Korea) compared with a widely used resin-based root canal sealer (AHplus; Dentsply De Trey, Konstanz, Germany) and conventional MTA (ProRoot; Dentsply, Tulsa, OK, USA). MATERIALS AND METHODS Forty sta...
متن کاملDynamic intratubular biomineralization following root canal obturation with pozzolan‐based mineral trioxide aggregate sealer cement
The application of mineral trioxide aggregates (MTA) cement during the root canal obturation is gaining concern due to its bioactive characteristic to form an apatite in dentinal tubules. In this regard, this study was to assess the biomineralization of dentinal tubules following root canal obturation by using pozzolan-based (Pz-) MTA sealer cement (EndoSeal MTA, Maruchi). Sixty curved roots (m...
متن کاملA Comparative Investigation of the Microleakage of Biodentine and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate as Coronal Barrier in Nonvital Bleaching
Background and purpose: Internal bleaching is recommended to correct the discoloration of pulpless teeth. This study aimed to compare the microleakage of biodentine and mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) used as an intracanal barrier in non-vital bleaching. Materials and methods: An experimental study was performed in which 36 extracted mandibular premolars were randomly divided into two experim...
متن کاملCondensation Pressure Effect on Microleakage of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate
Objective: The aim of this study is to measure the effect of different condensation pressure on the microleakage of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA). Methods: This study was an invitro study. A total of 55 single rooted straight-canal human extracted sound teeth free of cracks or calcification were selected. Teeth were sectioned from CEJ region at 3 mm above the root apex. Remaining specimens ...
